Career Connections/Technology Education Series Career Connections is a program consisting of a series of hands-on mini-courses called Career Pathway Units (CPUs) as well as lab management products, lab equipment, and whole class products. Our programs include: Career Pathway Units (CPUs) - 15 hour units designed to introduce students (at whatever level) to various knowledge and hands-on experience in specific career areas. CPUs are stand alone, which means they can be used independently or combined with any or all of the other units. Each CPU contains all the software, equipment, supplies, kits, and tools necessary to complete the included activities. Our CPUs are correlated to the States' Career Clusters Initiative as well as national academic standards including math, science, language arts, and more as well as many of the personal skills needed in today's workplace including problem solving, allocating resources, and more. Titles include:
Engineering Application Series (EAS) - an online collection of fun and exciting problem-based learning opportunities. EAS provides students the opportunity to master critical academic, workplace, and life skills while solving real-world challenges. Speed Track Challenge Packs - an innovative project-based learning system designed to seamlessly integrate radio controlled racing with virtually any career and technology program VEX/TSA Robotics Competition Products - Applied Technologies is an Official VEX Partner, Official VEX-TSA Program Supplier, and a long-time TSA (Technology Student Association) supporter. Applied Technologies is proud to offer several Competition packages that can get your TSA Chapter up and running! |
