Green
Transportation CPU
Introduction
The
Green Transportation CPU involves the study of the
history of transportation in general, and alternative fuels
specifically. Students study how hydrogen can fuel a vehicle,
then produce hydrogen by electrolysis. They review electric
vehicles, hybrids, and various biofuels like ethanol and
biodiesel. Finally, students review things that can be done
currently to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
