Introduction to
Green Technology Prerequisite
Introduction
Serving as an introduction to a series of related courses
(Alternative Energy,
Green Construction,
Green Transportation, and
Resource Conservation) the 5-hour Introduction to Green
Technology Prerequisite familiarizes students with ideas
necessary to pursuing further "green-related" studies.
Students uncover the history of environmentalism as it relates
to modern-day challenges, and investigate the impetus for
discovering alternative and sustainable energy. Having
engaged this "why" information, students will be prepared to
discover the "how" through more specific studies on green
technologies.
The prerequisite can be purchased with enough manipulatives for
a pair of students or for a whole class.
