Technologies is proud to present a great way to teach Accountability
Criteria for the National Healthcare Skill Standards established by
the
National Consortium for Health Science Education. View a PDF

Our Foundations course covers all 11 of the Foundation Standards and
Accountability Criteria totaling 120-150 hours of material and
activities. The 11 standards include:

Ethics

Within each lesson, students complete an online study that teaches
specific information about that lesson’s accountability criteria.
Most studies conclude with an assessment measuring the student’s
comprehension of the subject matter.
Next, teachers use lesson plans and suggested activities, such as
role-playing, projects, and group activities, from the Instructor’s
Guide to reinforce the accountability criteria within the health
care environment. Rubrics are included to assist teachers in
assessing group and individual performance.

Quiz Delivery
The Foundations course is available as a two-year program/site
license. We regularly update the curriculum so it reflects current
issues and maintains a fresh presentation in the classroom.
Initial Two-Year Schoolwide Unlimited License - HS910
Entitles one campus to use the Health Science Foundations
courseware on an unlimited number of computers and students for a
period of two years. Students can access the course anywhere the
Internet is available. Includes Instructor's Guide.

The Foundations course offers two ways to deliver the daily quizzes:

Virtually every lesson has a
quiz. The questions are displayed as a part of the online
content. Teachers may choose to have students write down their
answers on paper or they may go over the questions as a group.

The second option offers the
assessments delivered by using an optional remote student
response package. This package includes a 32-student optivoteTM
system with the complete Health Science Foundations assessment
database allowing immediate feedback of both individual and
class progress.
