Lab Equipment When the Applied Technologies Development Department can't find a suitable piece of equipment for courseware it is developing or updating, or what it does find is too expensive or not durable enough for classroom use, we'll often resort to manufacturing it ourselves. This is the case with all of the products below, except for the 400 gallon fish farm: AeroDyne Wind Tunnel - A heavy-duty wind tunnel capable of testing CO2 powered cars, wing sections, and more. AquaTech 400 Fish Farm - This complete package comes with everything you need--except the fish!--to begin raising your own fish. DataTrack Raceway - Test those student created vehicles powered by wind, mousetraps, solar power, CO2, mag lev, and more with this great raceway. LoadStar Structural Tester - This device is capable of testing model bridges, towers, roadbeds and more, and can exert nearly 300 pounds of force. Robotics Workstation and Accessories - Use this handy workstation to keep from having to secure your robot arm to your furniture. Vacuum Former - Allow students to create a variety of items with this compact unit capable of holding 22" x 15" polycarbonate or polystyrene sheets with thicknesses of up to .25 inches. |
